The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 recently culminated in New Delhi and it was nothing short of an automotive show. Several leading car manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors have unveiled their new cars at the auto show. Although SUVs dominated the event, several European brands such as Škoda, MG and Porsche also debuted their attention-grabbing sedan models. Here in this piece we will talk about the top 5 sedans unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

1. Skoda Octavia RS

The new generation Octavia RS was unveiled at Auto Expo 2025 in the signature Hyper Green color scheme. It is expected to go on sale in the Indian market again in the second half of 2025. Some of the striking features in the high-performance sedan are LED Matrix beam headlights, 19-inch Elias alloy wheels, three-spoke multifunction sports leather steering wheel, wireless charging, 10-inch digital instrument display and a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Škoda Octavia RS hides a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged TSI gasoline engine under the hood, which, in conjunction with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, generates a massive 261 horsepower and 370 Nm.

2. Skoda Superb

The new generation Superb was also unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The latest iteration of the brand’s flagship sedan debuted in global markets almost two years ago. To be sold as a CBU, the next-generation Skoda Superb is adorned with the company’s Modern Solid design philosophy, with several elements taken from the Kodiaq SUV.

It is loaded with bells and whistles in the form of electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation and memory function, electric parking brake, multi-zone climate control and ambient lighting. Mechanically, the new sedan is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with a peak output of 201bhp mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Skoda is also considering launching the diesel Superb in India, albeit at a later stage.

3. MG 7 Trophy

Based on the standard MG 7 sedan, the fastback made its first public appearance in India at the recently concluded Auto Expo 2025. The MG 7 Trophy boasts a low-slung silhouette with a beefed-up rear profile, while sharp character lines run through. body. The cabin is finished in a dark theme with sports seats as standard equipment.

There are also dual touchscreens in the cabin for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system that can be controlled by touch. It is powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 261 horsepower and a peak torque of 405 Nm. The engine is connected to a 9-speed automatic unit. The MG 7 Trophy was showcased at an event to gauge customer response and is yet to be confirmed for launch in our country.

4. MG iM 5

The all-electric high-performance sedan was first introduced to the Indian audience at the Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi. The term iM stands for Intelligent Mobility, which MG parent company SAIC Motor launched in 2020 to sell only electric vehicles.

The iM 5 sedan rides on 19-inch alloy wheels that are finished in a black motif. The cabin exudes a futuristic appeal with a yoke-like steering wheel seen on global Tesla and Lexus models. The iM 5 EV boasts a massive 26.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, in addition to a separate 15.5-inch screen for the front passenger. It is equipped with a solid state 100 kWh battery that returns a range of 600+ km on a full charge.

5. Porsche Panamera GTS of the new generation

The next-gen Porsche Panamera GTS sent car enthusiasts into a frenzy when it was showcased at the company’s New Delhi pavilion. Priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom), the four-door sedan is as opulent and luxurious as you can imagine. The design is inspired by the Taycan EV with similar headlight units.

The features list is extremely premium, such as ventilated seats, four-zone climate control, a Bose surround sound system, and multi-touchscreen systems for the driver and front passenger. Mechanically, it is powered by a 2.9-liter V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine that develops a peak power of 349 hp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. The engine is offered with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
